| Mark & Michelle Kaelke, founders & previous owners Bear Creek Outfitters was founded in 1995 by outdoor enthusiasts Mark & Michelle Kaelke. From its humble beginnings to the premier guiding service it is today, the Kaelkes created an unprecedented reputation within the fishing industry. Today Mark is the Southeast Alaska/Tongass Project Director for the Alaska office of Trout Unlimited. Michelle balances her time working with various non profit conservation organizations throughout the year and the planning of many family outings and adventures. The second generation of Kaelke’s is making their way through the rivers and streams of Southeast Alaska as well. Sisters Sophia and Emma began fishing with their parents from day one and now have become fishermen in their own right! |
