Welcome to Bear Creek Outfitters

All of our guides are well-versed in providing casting and fishing instruction regardless of your skill level. Each is certified in first aid and CPR, and highly experienced in wilderness safety. Alaska's long winters give them the opportunity to travel and fish throughout Europe, Costa Rica, Belize and beyond.

Half Day Fly Out Fishing Trips

Summer temperatures range from the low 50's to the upper 70's, however rain is often a factor. Please bring along high-quality, waterproof rain shells (however, we have them if you don't), head wear and layered clothing. We recommend fleece or wool for at least one layer and synthetic under layers (avoid cotton) while fishing. Polarized glasses and waterproof cameras are also recommended.

The Wilderness and Wildlife

Aside from great fishing opportunities, your trip will give you the chance to view and photograph a variety of wildlife in their natural settings. Eagles, other birds and harbor seals are commonly sighted on our trips. Brown and black bears are seen frequently, and we occasionally see moose, Sitka black-tailed deer, wolves and otters as well.
