Bear Creek Outfitters was established in 1996 in Juneau, Alaska.  The pioneering days of BCO epitomized Alaskan Adventure, as the early crew explored hundreds of streams in Northern Southeast Alaska in search of the best fishing they could find!  Decades later, many of those discoveries remain our favorite fishing locations.  Along the journey we found certain streams were so inhabited by bears that finding a spot to fish was difficult…so we stopped fishing and started watching the bears, establishing Juneau’s first bear viewing guide service.  Fast forward 30 years later, and literally thousands of guests later, we are just as passionate about delivering our guests an authentic Alaskan Adventure.  Locally owned in Juneau and operated by highly experienced local guides, we invite you to join us for an adventure of your own!
